Click on A, B, C, D etc on map for more detail or refer to notes below. The map is fairly wide so use the slide scroll bar at bottom of page to see it all. Also see the route on bikely.com here.

Notes:
A. Follow Orphans Ck cycle path to Bossley Park. For extension of the map see Fairfield City Farm . The farm is 580 acres saved for the enjoyment of us good citizens as a reminder of past uses- it is off Darling St, which is the continuation of Roony St, which runs off Stockdale Cr, where there are some shops. The farm has a small zoo, some farm animals, a garden and a cafe. A pleasant spot to have a coffee. Free entry if that is all you want to do (although you might have to ask). $13.50 for the full experience.Their website. From the Farm entry gate you can also cycle north to to Prospect Dam, then back to Guilford and Parramatta on the Prospect Canal cycleway and the new cyclepaths under the M4 and along Adderley St to Newington and SOP.

B. There are two footbridges over Orphans Creek at Carramar. One is accessed from Prospect Road/Moore St just after it goes under the railbridge, up a steep little footramp with a step at the top. Wheel bike across and down to the road (Sandal Cr) on the other side - then there is another step down to Wattle St.The other footbridge is easier to use and is accessed from Cook St, off Moore St, and leads to Waterside Crescent, which takes you to Wattle St. Follow Wattle under The Horsley Drive overbridge and turn right into Kirrang Av. which crosses Woodville Rd at a set of lights. A short path between houses on the other side leads to Alcoomie St. Follow to Koonawarra St. At a roundabout take Sir Thomas Mitchell Rd, then Jocelyn and Rodd Sts back to Woods Rd where the outward route can be rejoined to Regents Park Station.

C. Liverpool/Parramatta Rail Trail. From Canley Vale you could follow this signposted cycle route parallel to the railway back to Guilford and Parramatta at Church St (new underpass of Church St and the M4 for cyclists) and follow the M4 bike route back to Sydney Olympic Park via Adderley St and Newington, as in A above.

D. From Olympic Park. Birnie Av south of Parramatta Rd is usually quiet on a weekend. During the week it may have some heavy trucks using it so an alternative is to use Bachel Av all the way from Parramatta Rd. (Use footpath to get to Bachel Av).

E. Woops, wrong way. We went a bit too far west along John St and ended up at the busy Cumberland Highway instead of Sackville Rd. We used the east side footpath northwards until we got to Orphans School Ck and could access the cyclepath, which goes under the Highway at this point. Best to turn right at Hill St off Johns St and get onto Sackville Rd.

F. Velodrome. Built in 1999 for the Olympics, it is a world class track cycling venue and impressive piece of engineering and architecture.
